Carnival of the Animals

After 36 years, I’ve finally digitised the first arrangement I wrote for the Yamaha Electone HX-1 organ, Saint-Saens’ “The Carnival of the Animals”.

This is among the most advanced arrangements that I’ve written to date, and one of three orchestral reductions for console-sized Electone organs.

I’ve also published the video of my performance of this organ arrangement at the 1989 Yamaha Electone Festival in Perth, to be able to see how it was intended to be played.

For the first time, I’ve engraved this piece in both US letter and A4 sizes, and have included some suggested registrations, based on what I used all those years ago. In the near future I will look at offering The Holy City in both sizes as well.
